Q : Are the examples above the only services we can use Skaalab for?
R : No. You can use Skaalab for any tasks you want to delegate. The services mentioned above are only intended to provide examples you can refer to.
Q : What does the onboarding process look like?
R : You will first be called by an account manager who will thoroughly understand your company and work with you to determine the number of employees you need. If you are a solo entrepreneur, you can start delegating tasks immediately. If you have employees to onboard, Skaalab will create an account for each of them and give them access to the shared account via their channel of choice. We use Slack and Email. Once ready, they can start delegating their work immediately.
Q : How does billing work?
R : A single monthly invoice. Skaalab bills for the time our employees spend on your tasks as well as the items you purchase. The most common setup is to use a single card to cover all expenses. However, if you prefer your employees to pay separately, that is also possible. The minimum is billed at the beginning of each month.
Q : Can I cancel my plan at any time?
R : Plan changes, staff reductions and cancellations are only valid starting the next billing cycle (the first of the following month).
Q : Can I add an employee mid-month?
R : Of course.
Q : Do I need to train the people Skaalab provides?
R : No, we train them ourselves. Each person undergoes a 1-week general training before working on any task. You will however need to train them on your specific product/company/service. Since Skaalab memorizes all your information, you only need to train us once — even as your needs grow, you don't need to retrain us as you would a new employee. Furthermore, if a team member leaves your account, you will experience no service interruption.
Q : Is this an outsourcing service?
R : No. You work with full-time employees. Skaalab has an office space, we organize cultural events, we have our own HR, equipment, software, etc.
Q : How do you track working time?
R : We have proprietary software that tracks your team members' activity in the office, on the web, phone and our internal systems. This activity is then processed into a detailed report and working time is calculated and reviewed. When you receive your invoice each month, you have the opportunity to discuss the details with your account manager.
